주한필리핀대사관에서 결혼비자 발급받기

13(a) Non-Quota Immigrant Visa

필리핀인과 결혼해서 함께 한국에 왔다면 서울에 있는 주한필리핀대사관에서도 필리핀 결혼비자를 발급받을 수 있다. 필리핀 이민국과 주한필리핀대사관 중 어느 곳이 더 쉽게 비자를 발급받을 수 있느냐고 묻는다면 둘 다 쉽지 않다고 이야기를 할 수밖에 없지만, 그래도 상황만 된다면 주한필리핀대사관 쪽이 낫다고 보는 사람이 많은 것은 주한필리핀대사관에서 결혼비자를 발급받으면 바로 PRV를 발급받을 수 있기 때문이 아닐까 싶다. 요컨대 필리핀 이민국으로 결혼비자를 신청하면 임시 영구거주비자(PPRV)부터 발급한 뒤 1년 후 영구거주비자(PRV)가 발급되지만, 주한필리핀대사관에서는 바로 영구거주비자(PRV)를 발급해 준다는 장점이 있다.

유의 사항

- 주한필리핀대사관에서 결혼비자 신청 시 PPRV 발급 없이 바로 PRV 발급 가능하다.

- 필리핀에서 거주할 수 있는 충분한 재정 능력을 증명해야만 한다.

- 필리핀인 배우자가 필리핀에 체류 중이라면 주한필리핀대사관에서 결혼비자 신청이 불가할 수도 있으니 확인이 필요하다.

- 주한필리핀대사관으로 이메일을 보내 결혼비자 관련 문의를 해도 상세한 답장을 받지 못한다. 그러니 불편해도 대사관을 직접 방문하여 구비 서류 등을 확인하는 것이 좋겠다. 참고로 결혼비자 발급 서류에 대해 문의하면 아래와 같은 답장을 받을 수 있을 뿐이다. 첫 번째 링크는 열리지도 않아서 URL을 확인해 달라고 요청했으나 세 번째 링크를 다시 보내주었을 뿐이다.

13A비자 발급 구비서류

- 모든 서류는 영문으로 준비 필요

- 주한필리핀대사관의 웹사이트 안내문을 보면 구비서류에 대해 A부터 M까지 13가지로 안내하는 것을 볼 수 있다. 굉장히 복잡해 보이지만 정리해 보면 아래와 같이 구분된다. 단, 결혼비자 발급을 위한 구비 서류는 국적이나 비자신청장소 등에 따라 달라질 수 있다. 정확한 서류 목록은 주한필리핀대사관으로 방문하여 직접 문의하는 것이 좋다. 

1. ‬비자 발급 신청서 및 요청서

2. 기본 서류

2-1. 신청자의 여권과 여권 사본

잔여 유효기간이 1년 이상 남은 여권으로 준비 

Applicant's passport, with validity of at least one (1) year at the time of filing;

Two (2) copies of the data page and latest immigration admission stamp in the Philippines;

2-2. 필리핀인 배우자의 여권 사본

Passport of the petitioning Filipino spouse/parent, with validity of at least one (1) year at the time of filing, and two (2) copies of the data page. The Filipino spouse/parent should maintain his/her Filipino nationality;

2-3. 2*2인치 사진

Four (4) passport-size (2x2) ID photos;

2-4. 신청자 명의로 발급받은 영문 가족관계증명서

Original and copy of English Family Registration Certificate issued in the applicant's name;

③ 결혼증명서: 혼인관계증명서

For spouse, original and 2 copies of the PSA-issued Marriage Certificate. 

If married abroad, a Report of Marriage duly issued by the PSA. For unmarried children, original and 2 copies of the Birth Certificate which should contain the applicant's name and his/her parents;

④ 재산증명서

필리핀에서 거주할 수 있는 충분한 재정 능력을 증명할 수 있도록 재직증명서나 은행잔고 증명서 등을 준비  

Original and 2 copies of proof of sufficient financial capacity to live in the Philippines, such as, but not limited to bank statement, at least three (3) months, employment certificate from the employer indicating position and salary, or certificates of stocks, or proof of business registration for self-employed;

⑤ 범죄경력증명서

경찰청에서 발급받은 영문 범죄·수사경력회보서(범죄경력회보서) / 아포스티유 필요 

Original and copy of apostilled police clearance issued by the Korean police authorities and translated in English;

⑥ 건강상태확인서

비자 신청일로부터 1개월 이내 발급된 건강검진서

Original medical health certificate accomplished by a General Practitioner. The medical certificate must also include the x-ray results with CD, laboratory reports, etc. The medical exam must be taken within one month from the date of visa application;

⑦ 기타

해당 사항이 있을 경우 추가로 준비

Original or printed clear scanned copy of other supporting documents proving that your Filipino spouse or parent is currently in the Philippines (e.g., Philippine immigration arrival stamps, certification issued by the local municipality/barangay where the Filipino national resides, or duly notarized employment certificate); and

If traveling with the Filipino spouse/parent, original and copy of the round-trip or one-way e-ticket for the Filipino spouse/parent traveling on the same flight.
